I set out for an early morning hike, pack and boots ready. Rounding the corner by the local café, a clumsy barista spilled a hot, sticky latte right down the front of my pants. Most people would've turned back, but I believe calm waters don't make skilled navigators. Shrugging off the mishap, I figured, "Why waste a good sunrise?" The latte stain blended perfectly with the muddy trail, and I still reached my dream summit. Didn't even have to spend my last dollar! Funny how small mishaps sometimes lead to the best luck.
