This video shows how the "forging text" was created by using specific shader nodes to create the illusion of the text appearing. There is also an alternative presented if the nodes are too much for some users. The node system can be quite a bit for new users. The alternative is simply to animate the scale on an axis to the moving of the two beams to show over time.
